Hey all - New member and need help!

   Heya all, my mrs has the k12 and the right (drivers) headlight is always blowing! 
As you know, it is a pain in the ass to change with the clips. So, my questions are..
1) What would be the common causes of a blowing headlight
2) Could buying a whole new unit potentially fix the issue? 

I know currently that the metal clip holding the actual bulb in is loose.
