To reset the ecu on a P11-144 follow these steps.

Locate the Consult Data Connector.

1. Turn Ignition on, do not start engine

2. wait till airbag warning light has come off

3. Connect "CHK" and "IGN" Terminals on the Consult Data Connector

4. Wait for at least 2 seconds

5. Disconnect the Cables

THE ECU IS NOW IN DIAGNOSTICS MODE

6. Reconnect the cables

7. Wait at least 2 seconds

8. Disconnect the cables

 

THE ECU HAS NOW RETURNED TO STANDARD OPERATING MODE AND HAS BEEN RESET TO FACTORY PARAMETERS

IT IS RECOMMENDED NOT TO EXCEED 4000 RPM FOR THE FIRST 5 MINUTES OF DRIVING, WHILE THE ECU WRITES ITS NEW PARAMETERS.
